The first two days of the seminar will have an educational focus, with the intention to expose the participants to a wide range of MRI topics and applications. In addition to the plenary talks, there will be parallel sessions which will separate the clinical from the technical lectures.
The research focus of the 2011 seminar will be twofold. We will give MR professionals from the Balkan region a chance to present their research, and to network with their colleagues from neighboring countries. The last part of the conference will be a continuation of the White Matter Symposium, which took place at the 2008 meeting and was organized by Columbia University. This symposium, titled “Post mortem, epidemiological, and genetic studies of schizophrenia: Implications for in vivo imaging and vice versa”, is part of the ongoing collaboration between Columbia University and MANU:
• Day 1: June 16, 2011
• Day 2: June 17, 2011
• Day 3: June 18, 2011
