Following three successful seminars in Macedonia (2008 and 2011), and in Turkey (2014), mrbalkan.net continues its mission in Slovenia (14 - 16 September, 2017), where world-renowned scientists will deliver presentations to a general audience of radiologists, engineers and physicists. The seminar aims to disseminate and promote MRI locally through educational and research sessions, and to create networking opportunities with the invited speakers. During the seminar, the participants will be exposed to:
MR pulse sequences used in research and clinical settings,
Recent developments in multi-modal MRI,
Fundamentals and cutting-edge applications of connectomics
This seminar is supported by the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) and aims to promote MRI by bringing Southeast Europe radiologists and researchers together and acquainting them with the state-of-the-art in multi-modal MRI. The seminar targets a well-balanced combination of engineering and clinical sessions, and will cover fundamentals of MRI as well as cutting-edge research developments in the field. The invited speakers will give approximately 20 presentations about various aspects of MRI. Researchers from the region will also have the opportunity to present their work.
